Construction
In-grain construction rotates the wood so you cut into the grain from the ends of the wood. This process is more difficult and takes more time, but the results are fantastic. Structurally stronger and more aesthetic.
Our boards are handcrafted in our studio using the finest hardwoods. All wood is professionally kiln dried, ensuring the ideal moisture level to prevent warping and cracking.
Each board is 100% food safe, without coloring or dyeing and only with high quality food glues. Our boards are then coated with a layer of edible oil which penetrates and protects the grain of the wood while bringing out the natural luster and beauty of each species of wood used.
Before shipping, a final treatment is applied to ensure it is ready to use by the time you open your box. Our boards are also shipped with care instructions, if cared for properly, each of our boards will be an heirloom piece that can last a very long time.
